Benja is a dual-degree master’s student at Kent State University volunteering as a Sprints/Hurdles Coach for the Track and Field Team. She was a team captain, second fastest 100m hurdler in Kent State history, the 2022 MAC 100m Champion and contributed to the 2021 Mid-American Conference Championship title during her 6 years as a student-athlete. Driven by her passion for both business and sports, Benja is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing and a Masters of Sports Administration. She has plans to become a Digital Marketing Specialist for a professional athletic organization and currently works as a Marketing Graduate Assistant for TRIO Student Support Services.



The USATF Foundation provides a means to attract and guide funds to new and innovative track and field programs with an emphasis on providing opportunities for youth athletes, emerging and experienced elite athletes, along with guidance on future career paths. The Foundation depends upon donations from its Board of Directors, major gifts, and from generous fans of track & field.

Elite athletes are supported by the Foundation via monetary grants, career counseling (mentoring and jobs) and participation in Run With US!. Youth athletes are supported via monetary grants to youth clubs.
