Empowering elite athletes to pursue higher education while competing at the highest level.

WHY THIS PROGRAM MATTERS

Because athletic excellence and academic achievement should go hand in hand. The Tuition Reimbursement Program helps athletes build a future that extends far beyond competition.

Education Without Sacrifice

Athletes often delay or struggle to complete degrees while training and competing. This program helps reduce that burden.

I am so thankful for the generous support of the Burgess Family/USATF Foundation Educational and Vocational Tuition Reimbursement Program. It allowed me to pursue my Master’s degree in Sports Management, a crucial step as I plan my career transition after hammer throwing. I am incredibly grateful to the foundation for helping me broaden my future options and give back to the sport I love.

The tuition reimbursement grant helped me earn my Master’s in Public Policy and Leadership at the University of Virginia with less financial stress. With education costs covered, I was able to invest more in recovery and nutrition — helping me perform at my best while balancing school.
