The Disney Sports team puts on more than 200 events per year at the ESPN Wide World Sports Complex.

Role Examples:

SPORTS MANAGEMENT INTERNSHIP: Disney Sports Internship Program provides an inclusive environment which centers on a variety of business practices in operating a sports complex. This twelve month Internship provides a wide variety of practical learning and experiences in sports and event management. Internship will include exposure to programming, event management, marketing, merchandise, sponsorship and facility operations at Disney's Wide World of Sports® Complex, as well as business planning and development for future growth of the complex and the sports business at the Walt Disney World® Resort.

COMPETITION COORDINATOR: Assist Operations Managers in the execution of Sports events.  Be primary contact for the client and operational partners during events and communicate event results and any schedule changes. Partner closely with Sports Programming Team to compile and distribute the necessary information regarding the event to the functional and operational partners at the Wide World of Sports Complex. 

EVENT SERVICES ASSISTANT: This is an hourly role. Assemble, set and strike equipment for special and sporting events at Disney’s Wide World of Sports. Monitor event and assist with stand-by responsibilities and partner with the Event Manager to monitor and communicate event schedules and results. Focus on client service and ensure that all unplanned needs are met, that all equipment is properly handled, installed, struck, packaged for transport and that playing surfaces are protected as well as document all unplanned needs, challenges and successes.
