In Kyle's words:

I'm married and have two dogs, a cocker spaniel named Remi and a Great Dane named Kiara. I consider the Great Dane my dog and the Cocker Spaniel as my wife's. They are both a lot of fun to take to the park or wrestle with around the house. I also just enjoy sitting on the couch and watching a great movie with my wife, Angela, especially after a hard day of training. During my down time, and especially during my off season, I like to play golf. I always enjoy a relaxing golf game with some friends and enjoy just being outside and talking with friends. Golf is also relaxing enough that it doesnt take much physical activity, so I can still play after a long run.

I love to cook and usually do the cooking in the house. I enjoy all types of seafood, but my favorites are muscles and calimari. I really like to try new types of food and just get bored with the same thing all the time, so I try to cook different things. There are many different movies that I really enjoy, but if I had to pick a few, I would say Grand Torino, Green Street Holigans, Dumb and Dumber, Black Hawk Down and Superbad.

Once running is over, I know that I will need to find a "real job," as I like to call it. There are a few things that I want to do, but don't really know where I will end up. One career choice that I believe I would enjoy would be a high school athletic director. It would be great to work with kids and try to help them get on the right track and possibly go to college on an athletic scholarship. I also have a passion for real estate and would want to get invloved in real estate in some way. So for right now, those are the two directions I'm looking toward, for the future.

Thanks,

Kyle Alcorn, 3000 Meter Steeplachase
