Career Mentors to Olympic Track & Field Athletes"BECAUSE THE DREAM CONTINUES AFTER THE RACE ENDS" NOTE: IF YOU ARE AN ATHLETE, PLEASE CLICK HERE. The Challenge: An often overlooked aspect of an athlete’s decision to make a total commitment to maximizing sports achievement and pursuit of the Olympic Dream, is to put his or her "non-athletic" career on hold for 10 or more years. The Goal: We can accelerate and smooth the transition to post-competitive life for these fine young men and women athletes by connecting them to business and professional leaders. Access to the advice, counsel and networks of seasoned, successful people, could prove invaluable to these athletes, who may lack confidence and connections, and often underestimate the value of their sports experience and its application in the professional world. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- “This program comes at a perfect time for me,” says Adam Nelson, two-time Olympic Shot Put Silver Medalist, “I’ll be the first one to sign up.” ----------------------------------------------------- Please Join Us!: By skillfully matching motivated (and pre-screened) athletes with appropriate mentors who have the wisdom and connections that come through career experience and success, we can provide an invaluable lift to these athletes. Combined with our suite of preparatory services, a mentor can help these talented, young adult athletes successfully transition to their post-competitive life. We are asking YOU to join the list of people who are willing to be a mentor. Please CLICK HERE for more information and to review our Q & A section.
