A word from our Chairman…

Welcome, and thank you for visiting the USA Track & Field Foundation website. Along with our dedicated Board of Directors, it is you, the generous fans of track & field, that enable the Foundation to carry on in its efforts to assist youth & emerging elite athletes to perform and function to the best of their abilities, both on and off the field.

We’re proud to announce that 9 Elite Athlete Development Grant recipients qualified for the 2008 Olympic Team, with Stephanie Brown Trafton winning the Olympic Discus Gold Medal and David Oliver claiming the Olympic Bronze Medal in the 110 Hurdles. In the words of one Grant recipient, “the system works.” It sure does. Congratulations to all!

The Foundation will strive to continue its good work for generations to come. We greatly appreciate your continued support and love of track & field, as we look forward to the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
