Kim has held several key government positions with the House of Representatives in our nation's capital, as well as with the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy. From 1998 to mid-2002, she was Assistant Counsel and Special Assistant to the CEO of USA Track & Field, Craig Masback. An elite runner at Indiana University, she won the 1987 NCAA Division I Cross-Country Championships.

Jim played basketball and ran the 120 yard hurdles at Titusville High School, PA, where he was inducted into the school’s Sports Hall of Fame. He has won numerous awards for his professional and civic accomplishments.

Louis was part of a world record-breaking high school mile relay team, despite a severe hamstring injury. He attended Drake University on a four-year track scholarship.

Rudy is a former elite runner and 5,000 meter American record holder who now owns his own company, working with Nike and other sports-related clients.

Victoria is a former track & field star at UCLA. She was a 3-time CIF State 3200m Champion, 2-time Junior Pan-American 3000m Champion (1980, 1982). Her daughter currently competes on the junior level.

Joe was an elite athlete out of college, clocking a 3:58.3 mile at the 1982 Prefontaine Classic and competing at the 1984 U.S. Olympic Trials. He is an advisor with the ASICS Aggies, an Olympic Development Club, still competes as a Masters runner and is an avid cyclist along with his wife Lori. Their two daughters both compete in track & cross country.

Stephanie Hightower, President, USA Track & Field

Stephanie brings a wealth of experience to the USATF presidency, including having served as USATF’s Women’s Track & Field Committee Chair. A former world class 100m hurdler who competed on more than a dozen U.S. national teams, Hightower held several American and world records, and was a member of the 1980 Olympic Team, prior to retiring in 1988. She currently serves as Vice President for Institutional Advancement for the Columbus College of Art & Design, in Columbus, Ohio.

Mark, who comes from a family of track athletes, was a top high school sprinter and long jumper, who also competed in college. The sport is truly a passion for him. An attorney, he also served as a Nevada State Senator for 10 years, and later as a Clark County Commissioner.

Lananna was the driving force in securing the 2008 & 2012 Olympic Trials for historic Hayward Field. He is Associate Athletic Director at Oregon and was most recently head track & field coach for Team USA at the IAAF World Championships in Daegu, South Korea.

He also served with the United States Olympic Committee as a Vice President, Board member and member of the Executive Committee. In 2008, Frank was inducted into the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame. Amory was a two-sport All-American at Princeton, where she won an NCAA title in lacrosse and received the C. Otto von Kienbush Prize as one of the school’s best female scholar-athletes. She won a gold medal with the US Lacrosse Team at the 1997 World Championships and ran cross-country and track while teaching and coaching in Cambridge, MA. In 2004, Amory won the US National Duathlon Championships. In the Arena, a youth development organization that provides at-risk youths with powerful sporting mentors, was founded in 2006.

Jack competed in cross country, track and road races in his 20’s, but now enjoys tennis and cycling. Jack is Vice-Chair of the USA Track & Field Board of Directors.

Tom Jackovic, Executive Director, USA Track & Field Foundation

Tom has directed fund-raising and development strategies in the athletic arena since 1992, including positions with the United States Olympic Committee, Penn State University, the University of Buffalo and Washington University in St. Louis. He runs regularly, has completed a full triathlon, and is an avid golfer.
